The team, which consists of eight T-50 Golden Eagle trainer aircraft, previously participated in the Singapore Airshow in 2014, 2016 and 2018. After a gap of 6 years, the Black Eagles returned to Singapore and once again put on a stunning aerial display that captivated local spectators and aviation enthusiasts from around the world. The Black Eagles Aerobatic Team was established in 1998 and has won wide acclaim for its superb flying skills at many international air shows. However, due to the relatively limited airspace available for aerobatics at the Singapore Air Show, the Black Eagles aerobatic team had to make adjustments to their daily routines. For example, the team's signature loop maneuver was originally planned to be performed at an altitude of 6,000 to 7,000 feet, but had to be performed at a lower altitude due to low cloud coverage at the air show venue. Having witnessed the performances of many aerobatics teams across Asia, we all agreed that the Black Eagles' performance was indeed outstanding. No matter in terms of aircraft, performance, overall coordination, and accuracy, the Black Eagles are undoubtedly the best and a worthy contender for the title of "Asia's Top Aerial Artist."
