But something was off. The other aircraft moved faster, climbed sharper, and turned tighter than any Mirage he’d ever flown. Then he spotted it —a bold orange triangle outlined in black. No Arab Mirage carried markings like that. Caught between firing and breaking away, he hesitated only for a second before he re-tightened his grip on the stick. That moment of doubt was all it took for the mystery jet to pull straight into a vertical climb, roll inverted, and drop behind him in one continuous, fluid motion. Now, the hunter became the target.
