Taking a look at Sun Microsystems Sun Fire T2000 from 2005. This has a single UltraSPARC T1 CPU with 8 cores and 32 threads. We'll open it up and have a look at the hardware, install Solaris 10 on it, and configure it's ALOM for remote network access. We'll also do some research into Sun's "N1" initiative from the early 2000s.
