Episode 4 of the amphibious canoe build and journey across the Scottish Highlands. In this Episode I will attempt to travel along the hiking trails, forest tracks and canal paths of the Great Glen Way from Inverness back to Fort William. It was always going to be risky trying to use standard bike parts to propel such a hefty contraption (over 100kg when fully loaded) up steep inclines and along hiking trails. It did very well all considered but there were certainly some challenges along the way!
