Try it today @Theapron41 For the best results, I recommend using a kitchen scale to measure ingredients in grams, as this gives the most accurate and consistent outcome. But if you don’t have a scale, no worries! i have include cup measurements and ounces so you can still follow along. thanks!! Ingredients:- Bread flour-250 gm, 2 cups, 8.8 oz Salt- ½ tsp, 3 gm Sugar- 1 tbsp, 15 gm, 0.53 oz Milk- 100ml, 0.42 cups, 3.38 oz Thickened cream- 100ml, 0.42 cups, 3.38 oz Honey- 1 tbsp, 15 ml Instant dry yeast- 4.5 gm, 1.5 tsp Unsalted butter-30 gm, 0.13 cups, 1.05 oz methods:- • In a mixing bowl, add full cream milk, thickened cream, honey, and instant yeast—no need to activate, just mix well. • In another bowl, sift bread flour, salt, and sugar and give it a quick mix. • Start kneading on low speed, adding the liquid gradually to control consistency. After 4 minutes, add soft butter in stages and knead for about 15 minutes until smooth and elastic. • Let the dough rise in a warm, draft-free spot for about an hour—but always check the dough, not just the clock! In summer, avoid over-rising by keeping it in a cooler space. In winter, proof inside the oven with the light on or near warm water for steady fermentation. • After rising, shape the dough however you like, and then transfer it to a greased baking tray. • Let it proof again before baking. • Preheat your oven to 170°C (338°F), brush the dough with milk wash, and sprinkle white sesame seeds while the surface is still wet for better sticking. • Bake for 25 minutes, and as it bakes, your kitchen will be filled with the most incredible aroma! • Let it cool before slicing and enjoy—perfect for toast, sandwiches, or just fresh out of the oven! Best Tips for Perfect Dough & Proofing : ✔ If using active dry yeast, always activate it first by mixing it with lukewarm milk or water and letting it sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy. This ensures the yeast is alive and ready to work. ✔ If using all-purpose flour, slightly adjust the liquid amount while kneading—since it absorbs moisture differently than bread flour, adding liquid gradually helps maintain the right dough consistency. ✔ In warm weather, be mindful of dough temperature! If you notice the dough getting too warm or sticky, stop kneading and place it in the fridge for about 10 minutes before continuing. The high fat content from butter and cream makes the dough more sensitive to heat, so keeping it cool prevents issues. ✔ Always knead the dough on low to medium speed—this allows the gluten to develop gradually, giving the bread a soft and airy texture. ✔ Avoid kneading on high speed, as it can overwork the dough, making it dense and tough instead of light and fluffy. ✔ If kneading by hand, take your time and let the dough come together naturally. Rushing the process can affect the final texture. ✔ Always proof the dough according to the weather, not the clock! In summer, proof in a cooler spot to prevent over-fermentation. In winter, keep it in a warm, draft-free place or inside the oven with the light on. ✔ Watch the dough, not just the timer. Dough rises at different rates depending on temperature and humidity. If it smells like yeast or beer, it’s likely over-proofed—either due to excessive yeast or too much fermentation. Over-proofed dough can collapse during baking, so always proof carefully! more bread video:- https://youtu.be/EI2NvXiGGCI?si=uzaRZvfbzRNsBphJ https://youtu.be/4IewA4QZVC8?si=kYFITmOiYOa6Uolz https://youtu.be/6tbz-ZdUIFU?si=MaH3-PWPepl0G-2p #breadrecipe #bread #homemadebread #homemaderecipe #easyrecipes #easyrecipe #softbread #milkbread #creambread #theapron #theapron41 #baking #yeastbread #easybread
