I’m also joined by my friend Nat Moran, and together we head into town to fuel up the truck, run supply errands, and experience what it’s really like managing off-grid homestead life when basic needs require planning, fuel, and long drives. Later, we slow things down and enjoy the simple side of off-grid living — hanging around the campfire, sharing dinner, and spending quality time with friends in the wilderness. This is the side of homesteading that doesn’t always get shown… the community, the conversations, and the quiet moments. Then things get interesting. Nat Moran and I take a long drive down remote country backroads to check out a dilapidated off-grid property with an old homestead house that needs a full remodel.
