During World War II, when sugar was scarce, he used honey instead. He never gave up and kept going. After his passing, his sons carried on the business, and today, his grandchildren run this pastry shop. Now, Bahar is one of the oldest pastry shops in Tehran, where nearly 300 fresh cream cakes and rolls are made and sold every single day.
