If this is the first of me you’re seeing; I am a training tailor making guides to as many parts of bespoke tailoring as I can for you to learn as well. I suggest referencing earlier content to better frame what I might do differently. There are fewer bespoke resources and it’s a different process to production garment making.

Video Description
This will be a video with a complete method of making a shirt with single cuff, collar with removable collar stays and no exposed seams or hand-stitching. Methods of making shirts can be very pick and mix. There are many ways to do each step and a lot of leeway in the order of some steps. This is one potential workflow with one set of possible methods. The methods can be used and applied differently. For example I made a Raj pattern shirt using a lot of the same methods. I do not personally intend to be a good shirtmaker, let alone a decent one. I enjoy knowing how to make shirts, but I hope more that someone who does want to be a great shirtmaker can potentially start here, or that it will help you along. That and anyone else who wants to make a shirt. This method may be a less homemade/production, which I sense may be more efficient for one-off production individuals. https://www.instagram.com/thecaffeinatedtailor/ Timestamps: 0:00 - introduction 2:35 - striking Body 4:53 sleeve 5:43 cuff 7:08 Yoke 8:17 collar 8:50 cutting 13:23 drop right 14:39 interfacing 15:29 - prep Front edge 17:42 yoke 20:35 shoulder 24:44 sleeve gauntlet sewing 27:14 sleeve gauntlet pressing 30:13 sleeve gauntlet topstitching 32:10 collar 42:49 cuff 45:55 - armhole 52:55 - sideseams 58:10 topstitch 1 1:01:25 topstitch 2 1:03:52 - collar 1:10:25 - sleeve Pressing 1:12:37 1:20:36 - hem 1:29:29 - buttons
