The fob fits well in the ignition, possibly even better than the old one. The keyblade is high quality and fits perfectly in the door locks. The buttons felt a little stiff at first, but after breaking them in they feel great now. I suppose having this thing now will make it easier to replace the battery in the future too (non-CA) Downsides: the BMW logo is nice and shiny, but it's just a cheap sticker. The adhesive seems to be pretty strong at least. After a few weeks the sticker wore off, and I ended up replacing it with an OEM emblem. Also, the original keyfob was kind of a pain to crack open, as it's sealed shut. But with patience, I was able to cut it open after like 5 min. Some YouTube videos suggest baking it in an oven. I definitely wouldn't do that and is totally unnecessary. You just need a sharp blade."
