The car is predominantly aluminium panelled, but features this carbonfibre 'cage' structure, which is visible within the door shuts. So much technical effort in the manufacturing, yet the iX has a huge bonnet (that cannot be opened, and thus does not feature any storage) and fairly bland side profile and a boot luggage capacity smaller than a 5-series saloon. Hmmm. It competes with the Jaguar iPace, Merc's EQC, Audi E-tron and Tesla's X.
