I proudly present VT-AWA, the brand new Air India Boeing 787-9 on this flight from Mumbai to Frankfurt in Business Class, thank you for joining! This must have been by far the most requested video so far so I’m very happy to finally be able to showcase it to you all! While Air India has the ex-Vistara B787-9 and the older AI B787-8 in the fleet, this frame is the very first one made-to-order for Air India, sporting its new livery and latest cabin interiors. And boy was it worth booking this flight.. Air India now offers the very same seats in Business Class as the Qatar Airways B787-9, for a fraction of the cost allowing us to experience the same luxury, with incredible Indian hospitality, and thus bypassing the busy Middle Eastern hubs. And this is something I believe India deserves, as most of the business is funneled through other countries and airlines. Keep in mind that it was the first time for all cabin crew to be operating on this new plane, and thus were in some sort of training, and still it was a value for your buck. I can’t even imagine once everyone is confident and has settled in! Join me on this 9 hour journey and let’s experience this stunning aircraft.
