24-year-old guy trying to tell a story without words My background: When I was 20 years old, I dropped out of college and said to myself that I will do what I really want and what I see the meaning in. So I decided to build my dream log cabin, all by myself. I chose the traditional method - using only hand tools. My father taught me how to work with wood from a young age, but I have no experience with building a log cabin, so I'm learning everything as I go, and I'm looking forward to what this experience will teach me. I also started this YouTube channel where I share my entire journey, so if you are interested, you can check it out. There is no one behind the camera, so I do the filming and editing myself. I would also very much appreciate if you would support my journey by subscribing or sharing, if you want to. Here I'm sharing my journey with you. Thank you all for your attention. Enjoy!

Video Description
The roof construction is almost complete. The trusses with the ornament on the overlap are finished and the insulation is in place and closed. The green liquid I sprayed on the trusses is an impregnation that is applied as a preventive protection against wood-destroying insects, fungi and mold, protects against moisture, rot. For the parts that are visible, I used a transparent impregnation. When building this roof, I try to use hand tools as much as possible, but in certain steps it is necessary for me to use a noisy electric screwdriver because in some places it is better to use a screw instead of a nail. In any case, I still tend to use hand tools on this project, there are just certain moments when a screw makes more sense for me these days. Anyway, I'm really looking forward to sharing the next steps with you because all that remains to complete the roof is to attach the sheet metal roofing and gutters and close the gables! 🔔 Subscribe and click the bell so you don't miss new videos: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC4R2psHs0FQP7f2LRaS36ZA?sub_confirmation=1 📸 - Follow me on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/mattjacobs__/ ☕️Do you like my videos?
