Building a Winter Survival Shelter to prepare for the Coldest night yet. Solo survival in harsh and freezing temperatures. Post blizzard with deep snow. This type of survival shelter is most practical and easiest to setup. It protects you from wind, snow, rain and any other elements. It also acts as a protective barrier against any wildlife that may come your way, narrowing your point of contact to only half the space. The firewall (bigger in my other videos) acts as a very easily setup improvised heat reflector. Many of you may not think it's doing much, but I guarantee it does. This is a different video than my Viking Bushcrafting Shelter. This is more hands on, practical survival. I hope you learn and incorporate a thing or two from this video, and practice it on your next adventure. Always make sure you have the right survival gear for the job, I made that mistake with my shoes. They were practical frozen solid by night fall. Primitive survival is forgotten knowledge this day and age, and I'm here trying to bring it back. I love making these kind of videos. I learn a lot by throwing myself out there in harsh conditions , testing my survival knowledge and bushcraft skills, all while trying to maximize my time while filming.
