The original headgaskets in these turbo diesel engines were made to hold around 14psi but we need MORE POWER! After some research we learned that some people have installed the MLS headgasket from a OM606 into the OM603 with good success, so we wanted to try it out for ourselves. Purchased a MLS gasket, did some homework and got to work to drilling! After drilling we installed it onto the om603 reassemble that bad boy! Now getting excited that this engine will not hold lots of boost! So we go and so some more testing and YES! it's holds great!!! Borgwarner S252 pushing around 35psi and it ripps! Totally a need upgrade to you OM603!
