Burevestnik: Russia says it has tested a nuclear-powered missile: How deadly is it? | DW News
Description
Russia says it has successfully tested a nuclear-powered cruise missile. President Vladimir Putin says the Burevestnik is "invincible" and cannot be stopped by any air defense system. But experts are skeptical. Powered by a small nuclear reactor, they've called the weapon a "flying Chernobyl". US President Donald Trump is also far from impressed, declaring that Russia should concentrate on ending its war with Ukraine, rather than testing new missiles. President Putin described the Burevestnik as a "unique product that no one else in the world possesses". Marina Miron is a military expert at King’s College London. DW asked her whether this missile is unique - and whether it's any good. 00:00 How deadly is Russia's Burevestnik? 03:13 Marina Miron, military expert at King’s College London For more news go to: http://www.dw.com/en/ Follow DW on social media: ►Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/dwnews ►TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@dwnews ►Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/deutschewellenews/ ►Twitter: https://twitter.com/dwnews Für Videos in deutscher Sprache besuchen Sie: https://www.youtube.com/dwdeutsch Subscribe: https://www.youtube.com/user/deutschewelleenglish?sub_confirmation=1 #Burevestnik #Russia #Putin #Missiles
