This was my first camp back out after losing my liitle dog, Bella. I decided to dive into doing some bushcraft. I've never been the best at it, but it's one of my favorite ways to camp. For those interested: She was never on a camping trip. She just wanted to be comfortable and snuggle. You might have seen her in some videos. She was shown on the channel a few times. This is her story: On October 21st, 2022, a stranger walked up to our fence. She held an adorable tiny Shih Tzu. She told us this was her mother's dog, Bella. Her mother had entered Hospice and no one in her family would take her. She asked if we'd be willing to take her. We accepted Bella with the intention to foster her, but quickly fell in love. To us, she was perfect. Her favorite thing in the world was to cuddle. She stuck to Mrs. Bananas like glue. They had a bond like no other. She would always prefer to be held, if possible. She was like a living stuffed animal and she warmed the hearts of everyone she met. In the wee hours of Friday, December 27th, she became very sick. She passed away at 11:30 that night in the emergency vet. She came into our lives very unexpectedly and she left the same way. We cherished every moment with her. She is gone, but not forgotten and will always live on in our hearts. RIP to our Little Noodle.
