In the early mornings of 7am in my hometown, the shops would open up quietly and strangers say hello to each other. It's a greeting to say "Hello, we're both up at this hour. Hope you're well today." The heavenly feeling of that time before the day starts. The nebulousness of late hours carries over into the morning, until it settles back into routine. This song is about when time isn't tracked by hours. When you're deeply focused in something; whether it's work, getting the train, or whispering softly to someone and your attention is fully given. There's a peace we find in that focus, everything else fades away. This song is about the sunset.
