Video Description
Mauritania is an insanely interesting country in north-west Africa that few people know about. In Mauritania, there are still Bedouin nomads living in the Sahara Desert. Leonid and "Culture shock" went on a trip in the desert to see how the nomads survive and what their everyday life is like. We’ll find out what it’s like to eat camels and literally drink sand, what they teach kids in the local schools, and what an Italian doing in a remote village in the middle of the Sahara Desert. We will meet cameleers who will tell us how long camels can last without water and how many months it takes to walk across the desert from one end of Mauritania to the other. We’ll be endlessly drinking tea with the Bedouins, we’ll be fixing the camera charger in the African workshop, and we’ll be driving around the dunes of the Sahara Desert. Africa and Mauritania are amazing places with preserved traditions that will surprise you. Let’s get to know them better with Leonid and “Culture shock”
