However, I recently discovered a new tool that has made the process even more enjoyable: ChatGPT. ChatGPT is a large language model developed by OpenAI that can generate human-like text. I stumbled upon it while searching for writing prompts and decided to give it a try as a writing partner. I was blown away by the results. One of the first things I did was to ask ChatGPT to come up with an original logline for a romantic comedy. ChatGPT helped me come up with 8 beats of drama that took my story from beginning to end, providing me with a clear structure for my screenplay. But ChatGPT's capabilities don't stop there. I also used it to write an extremely detailed treatment for my romantic comedy and a shotlist ready for filming. It was amazing to see how ChatGPT was able to take my ideas and turn them into a fully fleshed out story. In conclusion, ChatGPT has proven to be an invaluable tool for me as a screenwriter. It's not only helped me with the creative process but also saves me time by doing the heavy lifting of organizing and outlining my ideas.
