Eight invited players including Magnus Carlsen, Fabiano Caruana, Hikaru Nakamura, and Alireza Firouzja, will be joined by the top-eight players from the Play-In to compete for top prize money ($150,000) and CCT Points, which may grant them a spot at the Esports World Cup. The Champions Chess Tour consists of two online events. The top-12 players from the CCT qualify for this year's Esports World Cup.
