This would form the first part of a larger east coast high speed rail network that could stretch from Brisbane all the way down to Melbourne. But this is not the first time the Australian government has put together a business case/feasibility study for high-speed rail - so in this video I look at how this latest attempt will work, how it differs from previous attempts, and if there's any actual chance we might see it become a reality.
