So many people were denied for CRB. These higher numbers could have been why their phone systems and online systems were out of service. It also says that they've amped up their game when it comes to pre-qualifying for CRB eligibility. In order to get your CRB check, or your CRB payments, they're going to do a more thorough job of backchecking your eligibility. Apparently they're even going through your taxes to make sure you meet their requirements, while working with Employment and Social Development Canada to make sure you're not applying for both CRB and EI. --- *BENEFIT SUMMARY* Who qualifies for CRB?: CRB is for people who are unemployed due to COVID, or have lost 50% + of their income.
