This year has been a difficult one for me in many ways. I lost someone very dear to me, in a heartbreaking tragedy, and though I won’t go into details, it has been a season that deeply tested my heart. The stress & grieving took its toll. I’ve lost about 5 kg since then. As I’ve shared before, I struggled with acid reflux for a while. It meant giving up many of my favorite foods, and it took me some time to figure out a way of eating that felt nourishing without relying on medication. Now the reflux is gone, but I still try to maintain a limited diet - it’s become part of my lifestyle now. Also because of work, I’ve had to travel this year a bit, moving between different climates and environments. All that shifting around left my hair dry and fragile. My hair began to fall more than usual, and grey hair appeared sooner than I expected. When the body is exhausted, it lets go of what it sees as non-essential… and often, that shows in the hair. But greying hair is not only about stress - it’s also a natural part of growing wiser, and I’m learning to embrace it as part of the journey. And so, I’ve been picking myself up again, little by little, through the simple rhythm of a weekly hair care routine. And I’d love for you to follow along as I share what has been working for me.
