2 Days of Survival Camping in a Fierce Blizzard – Raised Survival Shelter in Snowstorm!

Day One: I faced one of the fiercest snowstorms I had ever experienced. The temperature plummeted to -21°C, and the biting wind hurled snowflakes into my face, drastically reducing visibility. The storm was relentless, but I had no choice but to keep going. I set up a tarp shelter, positioning it against the storm. The air was freezing, and everything was buried under a thick layer of ice. My fingers were numb, and the cold was unbearable, but I had to endure. Using a small torch, I warmed my hands to prevent frostbite. My only source of warmth was the fire I had managed to start. Carefully, I prepared a hot meal to keep my energy up and fight off the cold. Day Two: The forest was blanketed in fresh snow. I moved my camp and hiked through the snowy wilderness in search of a better spot. I decided to build a raised shelter between three trees, about one meter above the ground. I secured three logs in a triangular shape to the trees and used five additional logs to construct a sleeping platform. Then, using a tarp, I covered the back and roof to protect myself from the snowfall. I set up a fire near my bed and cooked bacon and eggs for dinner to provide my body with enough fat and energy to stay warm. Every second was a challenge, and every decision was crucial.
