7 days solo in the Boundary Waters challenged me in more ways than I expected. Why do challenging things? It would certainly be easy to sit at home and watch other people on TV adventuring and experiencing life, while I continue about my structured routine. I did that for most of my life. At some point I decided to experience life myself, in a way that’s meaningful to me. I don’t take these experiences lightly. This trip was both humbling and empowering. I am not in control. When you’re not the one in control, you make decisions…deal with them, and press on towards whatever you’re pursuing. A life thats worth the challenge.
