Dazzle Drums Love To Boogie (027)  We have an extra special mix for episode twenty seven, our good friends from Japan, the one and only Dazzle Drums, popped in over the summer and recorded an extended 7 inch only vinyl set that we've been so excited to share with you all. Straight off the plane from shows in Mallorca, Kai and Nagi wasted no time getting into the mix and within the space of 90 minutes threw down a whopping 35 records. A true masterclass from the Tokyo staples, from genre hopping to extending tracks live by mixing the instrumental into the vocal version, the duo's experience shines bright throughout this incredible mix. Turn it up! Dazzle Drums are DJs and Producers from Japan who both started DJing in the 90s individually before coming together. Their sound, although rooted in soulful house music, blends a wide variety of sounds, from Disco to Techno, classics to current hits, the pair seamlessly blend it all. Through the years they have released music on labels such as King Street Sounds, BBE, Afrocentric, Nulu Electronic and Tribe Records among many others. True dedicators to their craft, their renowned residencies Music Of Many Colours and Block Party have been running in Tokyo for more than 15 years. ---------------------------------------------------- From Dazzle Drums - This is our first 7-inch-only set! The performance at Everybody Loves To Boogie after the two parties that lasted from daytime to nighttime and into the morning on Sunday in Mallorca, On Monday followed by the flight to London, was a moment when we truly felt the power of music. Additionally, the fact that we have been surrounded by various wonderful roots music, not just house music, has been a great source of inspiration for us as DJs.
