Video Description

This is a video analysis and critique of the Alan Wake series, by Remedy Games. It looks at how the Alan Wake titles function as the anchor of the Remedy Connected Universe, as well as how they hold up artisitcally on their own. It delves deep into the metatextual character of each game, even examining connective titles like Quantum Break and Control. Over the course of the review, it tries to form its own theory of how these games are united and what makes them unique. All DLC is included as well as the Final Draft for Alan Wake 2. Spoilers throughout. Audio Editing by Nate Greene. ___TABLE OF CONTENTS___ Intro-- 00:00:00 Alan Wake 1-- 00:00:26 The Signal-- 00:40:50 The Writer-- 00:46:50 Alan Wake American Nightmare-- 00:51:58 Quantum Break Connections-- 01:09:02 Control / Alan Wake Expansion-- 01:14:02 Alan Wake 2-- 01:26:56 Number One Fan-- 02:14:09 North Star-- 02:22:26 The Lake House-- 02:25:19 Time Breaker-- 02:36:03 Control / Foundation-- 02:45:04 The Final Draft-- 02:50:58 Credits-- 02:58:56 ======================================== If you enjoyed this video and want to contribute to the production of others like it, please consider donating through the crowdfunding website Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/noahcaldwellgervais
