Tim's cancer diagnosis came out of nowhere. When he started to have stomach pain though, Tim went to the emergency room. They discovered large gallstones that led to a severe gallbladder infection. While they were testing Tim to see what might be wrong with him, they suspected he also had multiple myeloma. This came as a shock to Tim as he felt asymptomatic aside from the stomach pain.
