The 2025 Acura RDX is powered by a 2L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with a 10-speed automatic transmission, 272 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque, standard AWD. Premium fuel is recommended. We’ve always liked the RDX for its engaging drive, it has a sport tuned suspension, an available adaptive damper system with three different damping profiles. This system is available on the top trim in Canada and in the US on the Advance trim. The RDX comes standard with an acoustic laminate windshield, active noise cancellation and active sound control. The 2025 Acura RDX gets a few updates to the exterior and interior including a new grille, sportier wheel designs, new paint colour options, an updated centre console layout with increased storage, larger cupholders, easier access to the wireless charger and a standard 10.2” display screen with a new wide screen model. What I am disappointed in is the trackpad, it is still here and while I can live with the button shifter, I am not a fan of the trackpad. Acura should have eliminated it like the brand did in the MDX. What I do like about the 2025 Acura RDX is the comfortable interior, the seats are great for longer trips and there really isn’t any hard plastic, mostly soft touch materials. Plus it’s big for the compact SUV class and I like the flat floor in the rear so anyone sitting in that middle seat is much more comfortable. In Canada, the 2025 Acura RDX starts at $58,021 CAD, A-Spec $61,851 CAD and Platinum Elite A-Spec $66,851 CAD (Pricing includes, freight, PDI and fees). In the US, 2025 Acura RDX $44,700 USD, Technology $47,300 USD, A-Spec $50,300 USD, Advance $52,450 USD and A-Spec Advance $54,450 USD. 2025 Acura RDX fuel Economy is not stellar at 11.3L/100 km city, 21 MPG city and 9.1L/100 km highway, 26 MPG highway.
