We'll hear from the prime minister, and representatives from the CRA. Luckily, if your Canada Recovery Benefit application or Canada Emergency Response Benefit claim was fraudulent, but you did so without knowing you didn't apply, there will apparently be no repercussions, apart from having to pay back your CERB check or CRB check. But, it's tough for the CRA to prove who committed fraud intentionally, and who just messed up. It'll be interesting to see how it all pans out! *BENEFIT SUMMARY* Who qualifies for CRB?: CRB is for people who are unemployed due to COVID, or have lost 50% + of their income. How much do I get from the CRB?: The Canada Recovery Benefit is $900/ two weeks for up to 26 weeks over the next year. When can I apply for the CRB?: October 12th. Who Qualifies for CSRB: CSRB is for people who need to take time off to isolate due to COVID related symptoms How much do I get from the CSRB?: Canada Sickness Recovery Benefit is $900/ two weeks sometime in the next year. When can I apply for the CSRB?: Now available Who qualifies for CCRB?: CCRB is for people who have a child or family member that need their care, and as a result, they are unable to work. How much do I get from the CCRB?: Canada Caregiver Recovery Benefit is $900/ two weeks for up to 26 weeks over the next year.
