Description

Name: Bonnie Crotzer, Founder of The Floss (https://thefloss.com/)   / fasciadepartment     / bonzsi   Location: West Village, New York City Size: 375 SQ FT/ 34 SQ METERS Type of Home: Studio apartment Years Lived In: 2021 When we asked Bonnie to describe the style of her home she said, "The airy lightness inspired the vibe, it kinda feels like a tree house– [it's] California in here and it reminds me of home." This 375 sq ft apartment is tucked above a small street in Manhattan's West Village, surrounded by other lower-rise residential buildings. Management renovated the apartment right before Bon moved in, exposing the wood beams, installing new appliances in the kitchen and modernizing the spacious bathroom.“My apartment is a five-floor walk-up, but after the climb, I'm rewarded with three skylights,” Bonnie explains. “It’s such a dream, especially in the winter, to mitigate the cold weather blues. The clean glass shower helped, too!” And she's seen her share of NYC apartments, viewing over 100 units over the course of a summer before finding (and negotiating) her way to this home. Bonnie is a "body person," founder of The Floss– a movement practice that guides people through low-impact fitness routines to nurture one's fascia. Talking with Bon and being in her home, you see the harmony between her physical work, lifestyle and philosophy. Her home reflects these interests and emphasizes the effortless beauty of natural materials. tThere's relief from clutter, sturdy wood furniture anchors small corners and thick woven textiles give a feeling of both comfort and durability. The light from above make you feel closer to nature than is possible in many nyc apartments. Thanks for not only sharing your home but for sharing your wellness and even an intro session into fascia flossing! We love it, Bon!!
