How you going? I'm Bruce , the "Part Time Prospector". I prospector for gold in Western Australia using a metal detector and having been doing so since 2020. I'm not one of those guys you see on TV that tell you that they have to find gold otherwise the wife and kids will starve to death, and set totally unrealistic season goals. I don't have to prospect to make money. I have a full-time job. I work as a software developer. I do the prospecting is fun. Its gets me out into the bush, it lets me see places that I will never otherwise see, but basically I enjoy it. Sure there have been times I gone out and haven't found a sigle piece of gold, that was more due to me learning new ground, new techniques and getting fully understanding the in and out of my detector.
