Video Description
Jacob Childs was stranded 30 nautical miles from shore and can hear rescue helicopters looking for him but at the same time he watches helplessly the sun going down and darkness begins to fill the sky. He knows that if he's not found before night fall he might not make it through the night, so he decides to record his "final hours" with his GoPro. At some point, after hours of floating out in the middle of the ocean he takes a moment to analyze his situation, he knows he's in a tough spot. With the camera recording he utters what can potentially be his "Final Words": "So that's it. The sun goes down they won't do nothing. That's a wrap on old Jakey". We react to the video and discuss what can we learn from incidents such as this one in order to make diving safer.
