Only then could DJI legally sell or import products again. Sounds simple, right? But here’s the thing — it’s never going to happen. 🚫 Why the Risk Assessment Will Never Be Done No one is responsible. It’s not clear which agency is supposed to make the call. Each one can just blame another. The FCC has new power. In a unanimous 3-0 decision, the Federal Communications Commission voted to give itself the authority to retroactively ban electronic devices that were already cleared for sale — if they’re later deemed a security risk.
