If you’re wondering what a central London one bedroom flat looks like, then this is the video for you. We filmed this video in winter 2023 of our zone 2 one bedroom flat a few days before we moved out. We no longer live in the flat. My name is Sophie and, together with my husband Antoine, we lived in this one bed Georgian property for exactly a year. Situated close to the Columbia Road Flower Market, in this flat tour we’re going to show you our hall, living room/ desk/ dining area, kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. I always love watching these kind of videos and so decided to film this at the end of our lease to show you what you can expect to pay in London. It’s not our usual travel content but we hope you’ll enjoy it nonetheless. For context: we originally rented this flat after spending three years living in Paris. We didn’t have any kind of rental history in the UK so we didn’t have a great pick of options when it came to flat hunting. We arrived in London and had a hotel booked for three weeks, in which time we had to secure a flat rental. When our landlord told us they were selling the flat, we decided to put all of our things into storage and go travelling for a bit (which is where we’re currently at).
