With hiccups along the way, Gillie says that going to college was one of the most transformative experiences in his life. He says the loss of his son has left a black hole in his heart that could never be replicated. A trying time for Gillie and his family, and he admits that revenge is on his mind. However, with the help of his amazing support systems, he’s managed to keep his purpose first and chose to remain a role model for those within the community.
