Self-Realization Fellowship is the worldwide spiritual organization founded in 1920 by Paramahansa Yogananda to disseminate his teachings on the Kriya Yoga science of meditation and art of spiritual living. Yogananda, author of the spiritual classic "Autobiography of a Yogi," is widely revered as the father of Yoga in the West. In India, his work is known as Yogoda Satsanga Society of India. SRF/YSS has more than 600 meditation centers, groups, temples, retreats, and ashrams all over the world. The international headquarters is located in Los Angeles.
