On the steep slopes of St. Patrick’s Hill, the streets of Cork were transformed into a high-octane playground as 65 wildly inventive teams battled gravity and each other in the Red Bull Soapbox Race. With a course packed with thrills — including 1 Kicker, 1 Bone Rattler, and a Double Berm — creativity, speed, and pure madness were all on full display. The whole of Cork came out to watch the racing, lining the city’s steepest streets in their thousands to soak up the atmosphere. And steep it was — St. Patrick’s Hill marked the steepest ever course in Red Bull Soapbox history, with a jaw-dropping 25% gradient that sent soapboxes flying (sometimes literally) from the starting line. When the dust settled, only three could claim the podium: 🥉 3rd Place – Daddy Slow Down ✈️ 2nd Place – Irish Air Corps 🥪 1st Place – Jumbo Breakfast Roll – proving once and for all that breakfast really is the most important meal of the day.
