This overgrown property was in terrible shape! Not only was the front yard overgrown, but the sidewalk was full of weeds, and the backyard was starting to grow higher than the fence. When I first saw the backyard, I wondered if mowing with a lawn mower was even possible. I couldn't tell if anything was hiding in the 8-foot-tall jungle. I located the owner and gave him a call. He was surprised that I wanted to tackle such a project! He asked me when I did go out to make sure nobody was living in the backyard... Um... So they have a shed in the back that apparently somebody must have been in before. A few soda bottles were found when I looked, but nobody was present onsite. After I completed the job, the homeowner came and was blown away at the results! We went into the backyard, and he checked again to make sure nobody was in the shed and it had not been damaged or vandalized anywhere. We spoke about the garden bed, and he said that they have plans to either expand the house or build a duplex, meaning that the yard will have to be removed and re-landscaped. It needs to be anyway.
