Q: Can I make this recipe without pectin? A: Yes, but the resulting bioplastic will be more flimsy (it's difficult to show the difference on camera). Q: Is this material water-resistant? You can find them in online retailers, and you'll see them in lots of shapes if you google "silicone mould for resin". Q: Where should I place it to dry? A: You can leave it to dry at open air inside your house, or put it in the sun if that's an option. Q: What is the quickest way to dry it? A: The ideal and fastest way to dry it is a dehydrator. Q: My bioplastic developed mold, how can I avoid that? A: It's difficult to say, I haven't had problems with mold; I don't sanitize or disinfect the utensils, but I generally try to keep the work area and tools as clean as possible. Q: What if I don't have a heat-sealer?
