Video Description
I made a mini milling spindle again. This time it is direct driven by a small brushless motor. The ER11 spindle is now with 12mm diameter and the bearings are precision spindle bearings arranged in matched pairs. I'm not quite sure yet if this design is a good one. I think time will tell especially if the motor is appropriate for this task. For controlling the spindle I made an extra control box with power supply and brushless controller. I hope you enjoy this build. Feel free to ask your questions or let me know your suggestions in the comments!
