She opened the door and I explained that I would love to clean it up for her absolutely free of charge. She didn't understand me at first as her english isn't the best and I was speaking really fast. She said she had no money to pay me and she could get her son to take care of it. At this point I slowed down and tried to explain to her that I would do it for free. She understood me and we spoke a little bit more using google translate. This job took me 2 days and a LOT of hard work. Not only was the backyard overgrown, but the edges were pouring over the curbs and the sidewalk in the front. I'm so glad I was able to do this job. The family was SOOO grateful. They brought me out water and sports drinks every 20 minutes. They also helped me load and unload my equipment so that I didn't have to carry it all.
