After cutting dozens of insane lawns on my Florida trip, I decided to do something a little different — I picked this waterfront property. Honestly, I did this one for myself. Sometimes I just like to remind myself how good I have it. While I work incredibly hard, I also get the luxury of choosing jobs that inspire me. I’ve mowed in some of the most beautiful areas in the country — and this one, right by the water, was no exception. It wasn’t always like that though. For years I cut the same weekly lawns for clients back home in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Week after week, same yards, same patterns. It paid the bills, but I dreamed of something more. Now, I get to use those same skills to help people — and that’s something I never take for granted. Some of the people I help, I never even meet. Others, I get to see how much it lifts them up. Either way, every yard is a reminder that kindness doesn’t have to be complicated. You can help someone today — it doesn’t have to be mowing a lawn.
