Hi guys! This video discusses how to solve homogeneous differential equations. We discuss homogeneous functions and how to determine them by applying the formula that f(kx,ky) = (k^n)(f(kx,ky)) with n as the degree of homogeneous functions. We then use the substitution y = vx or x = vy then producing the differential dy = vdx +xdv and dx = vdy + ydv . After applying this substitution, a new differential equation will be obtained being separable one and having the new variable v. We then apply how to solve variable separabel DE and returning the variable v in terms of x and y again. We solve different examples to illustrate gow to solve homogeneous DE.
