Video Description

Welcome to our first-time watching as we react to Hot Fuzz (2007). Hot Fuzz is a 2007 buddy cop action comedy film directed by Edgar Wright, who co-wrote the film with Simon Pegg. Nicholas Angel (Simon Pegg) is London’s finest police officer—so good, in fact, that his superiors transfer him to the sleepy village of Sandford to stop making his colleagues look bad. Upon arrival, Angel teams up with the well-meaning but bumbling local cop Danny Butterman (Nick Frost). While Sandford appears to be a crime-free utopia, Angel soon suspects that a series of gruesome "accidents" are part of a sinister conspiracy. As the duo investigates, they uncover a shocking truth that transforms the quiet village into an explosive battleground of justice. Directed by Edgar Wright, Hot Fuzz is a fast-paced action-comedy that hilariously parodies the buddy-cop genre while delivering thrilling action and razor-sharp satire. We hope that you enjoy our reactions, commentary and review as we discuss the incredibly well written dialogue, the hilarious jokes and humor laid throughout the script and of course the main discussion between ethics and how the film tackles moral theories bringing both deontology and utilitarianism to the mix.
