Yemen's Houthi rebels on June 7 claimed to have launched two military operations targeting two vessels in the Red Sea. The Elbella and AAL GENOA vessels were targeted with "a number of drones and ballistic and naval missiles", according to the Iran-backed group. Houthi leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi has vowed the group will hit the USS Dwight D Eisenhower Nimitz-class supercarrier harder after a recent attack.
