But the group has refused, just as Israel has breached the terms of the ceasefire over 10,000 times. In 2025, Trump declared a “historic new dawn for the Middle East”: but with Israel warring nations on multiple fronts, and the region still scarred by proxy violence and sectarianism– was he right?
