When they do so, they alter the name of the pasta slightly… - Diminutive suffixes : -ini, -elli, -illi, -etti or the feminine plurals -ine, -elle, -ette etc., all conveying the sense of "little" - Augmentative suffixes : -oni, -one, meaning "large".
