We’ve got our hands on some of the latest all-electric SUVs, and we’re going to compare them to not only see which will go the furthest, but also how close each of them will get to their claimed range! The contenders we have today are the Genesis GV70, BMW iX, Polestar 3, Audi Q6 e-tron, and the Kia EV9. Let’s take a closer look at the contenders. The Genesis GV70 rolls up with an 80kWh battery pack and two electric motors. These combine to produce 490hp and 700Nm, and the GV70 has a claimed range of 298 miles. Picking one up new costs around £66,000. The BMW iX also has two motors, and they combine to produce 544hp and 765Nm. It has a larger battery than the GV70, though, at 109kWh, so as a result it has a much larger claimed range - 426 miles. It costs a whole lot more, though, with the car we have for this video costing £107,000! The Audi Q6 e-tron starts from £61,000, but for the exact car we have here, it costs from £71,000! Unlike the previous two cars, it only has one electric motor, and this produces 306hp and 485Nm. It has a claimed range of 360 miles, and a 95kWh battery pack. Up next is the Kia EV9. The exact car we have here only costs from £65,000, and like the Audi it only has a single motor which is good for 203hp and 350Nm. It’s also equipped with a 100kWh battery, and this is good for a claimed range of 349 miles. Then, finally, we have the Polestar 3. The car here is the entry-level model, which starts from around £70,000, but it has some optional extras added to it, so this car here costs around £85,000. It’s equipped with a single motor for 300hp and 490Nm. There’s a 111kWh battery pack, which gives the Polestar a claimed range of 438 miles. So which will travel furthest - the BMW, or the Polestar?
