Friends, it feels like it’s been FAR too long since I’ve done a shape series set! (Looks like it’s been over 4 months since my last new one?!) So I bring you the watermelon shape series 🍉 I used this simple triangle shape - you can find this from a few sources but mine is the 3.5” from @night.owl.icing. If you haven’t checked out her cutters yet I couldn’t recommend more highly! Anyhoo, back to the set… I used this one shape, a somewhat limited color palette (6 colors) and just let my imagination run wild. My favorite part about this type of set is that I give myself permission to fail. As an artist and a content creator, I find this is SO important. Often I get too fixated on always putting my best foot forward… it’s just so dang freeing to create and tell myself if it looks terrible that’s ok!
